Fraud Hurts Everyone!
Over the last year, Tallahassee Housing Authority (THA) has had to terminate both employees and clients for various fraudulent activities. When participants have unreported income, have unauthorized live-ins, or self-employment that is under-reported, the result is that THA overspends on their rental assistance. THA will also begin conducting annual background checks on all adult program participants.

The wasted money could have been used to issue a voucher to someone else. THA is facing federal budget cuts and fraud costs everyone!
