Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Report

Program Size

As of 5/11/2023, the FSS program increased from 24 to 33 active participants, with three pending applications. We look forward to filling these spots as quickly as possible by continuing to advertise the FSS program and host events throughout Tallahassee Housing Authority communities.

Events in May:

Digital Literacy
May 5, 2023, at Fregly Community Center between 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
In this event, participants learned the basics of using digital tools and technologies, such as:

• Online Security
• Digital Communication
• GPS Navigation

Resume Touch-Up
May 17, 2023, at Fregly Community Center between 10:00 am - 11:30 pm
Participants can receive feedback and guidance on improving their resumes at this event. I will

• Review resume.
• Provide tips on formatting structure.
• Identify any grammatical errors or typos.

Credit Consultation

During this session, attendees can meet with experienced credit counselors who will provide personalized guidance and support to help them improve their credit scores and achieve financial stability.

Time Management
